Greetings from Tokyo in cherry blossom  season!!

I came back to Japan after 19 days of study visit  in Europe followed by a
short workshop in Malaysia at the end of  March.

I will finish the report on 7 cities in Europe by  mid April. The guidebook
for local climate action will be published by  June. It is to be
distributed to all prefectural centers for climate change  actions.
I am sure that your experiences  in Modena are instructive to local
governments, citizen's groups and local  business in Japan.

I hope that cities both in Europe and in Japan  make tighter alliance to
advance local climate protection.

Thank you again for all what you did for me,  taking busy time, replying to
my questions and arranging my visit.
